Blanchester Local Schools Stakeholder Survey

Schools that can get families more engaged find that their students earn higher grades, score higher on tests, develop better social skills, and are more likely to graduate.  Family engagement is no longer viewed as a one-way street.  The first step towards building these partnerships is to measure stakeholder attitudes and perceptions about their ties to their schools.

This survey is being used to gather feedback for a variety of purposes. Our educators may use the survey to determine strengths and areas for improvements as a needs assessment. Our administrators may use the survey to improve engagement with families and stakeholders as well as their staff. We will also examine results across different groups of stakeholders to see how different groups view the school. Follow up surveys by buildings and the district will help us measure change in stakeholder attitudes over time.

The results of this survey will encourage staff to evaluate the message from families and use the results as an opportunity to: support student learning both within and outside of school, make the school a more welcoming place for all, and build lasting partnerships between our families and the district.

I ask you to please take the time to complete this survey and respond honestly to the questions that are being asked so that we can make our district a better place for everyone.  GO CATS!
